In this episode, we see Yoosung and Hojin deep in the throes of sex, but there’s a problem: Yoosung is completely distracted. His mind is on the missing poster for Hojin. Who could have made it? Who’s out there looking for him? Does Hojin know about it? Does he want to leave? To Yoosung, it would be a waste to lose Hojin now. All the time, resources, and trouble he’s gone through to keep him there… it would just be a waste.
Mm. Yes, Yoosung. That’s the only reason you don’t want him to leave.
Hojin can tell that the Executive Director is distracted, prompting him to attempt getting Yoosung’s attention back on him. This results in him saying my favorite line in this episode:
The dramatic irony! That’s pretty much exactly what Yoosung’s doing. His guilt, and maybe even a little fear, is starting to get to him. Hojin continues on, saying that Yoosung can pretty much do whatever he wants with him, and he’s not saying that because he’s being paid but because Hojin likes Yoosung.
While watching Hojin clean up, Yoosung decides to do something a little out of character: he offers to order Hojin something that’s he’s asked for again and again — fried chicken. Hojin accepts immediately. Ecstatic, he carries Yoosung to another room, presumably to go place that order for his favorite food.
In full transparency, I’ve already read all of Boss Bxtch Baby, but it was via a poor fan translation. With the few chapters of the official English translation released so far, I’m excited to relive this series. Anyway, this manhwa has one of my favorite characters of all time, so I’m happy to buy the episodes on Tappytoon to support the author.
Oh, another thing about this chapter is that Chibi Hojin makes an appearance this episode! If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I freakin’ LOVE when manhwa creators include chibi versions of their characters in the story. Chibi Hojin and Chibi Yoosung appear a lot throughout the series, and I live for it.
